One Happy Girl!!

Friday night, Natalie attended her 4th Switchfoot concert with friends, Tessa, Kaily, Melissa & Erica. Switchfoot is Natalie's absolute favorite band and she is a little on the obsessed side about them. After waiting outside in the cold...very cold for 4 hours, the doors were finally opened and the girls were inside and on their way to the front row of what ended up being an amazing night for them. Being the true fans that they are, they waited until 1 a.m. for the band to come outside where they got their pictures taken, autographs signed and an extra song or two played for them. Natalie's favorite band member, Tim Foreman, is who she is pictured with above. She also got her picture taken with the other 4 band members as well. Maggie meets Josh Hutcherson!!

In case you aren't sure who Josh Hutcherson is, he can currently be seen on the big screen in the movie, "Bridge to Terabithia." Josh lives in Union, KY...and went to the elementary school that Maggie is attending now and was there when Natalie was a student there. Josh was the voice of the boy in the movie "Polar Express" (with Tom Hanks) and also in the move "RV" (with Robin Williams) and also the movie "Zathura". The Scholastic book fair is going on this week at New Haven Elementary and Josh came to sign autographs for the books, "Bridge to Terabithia" and also, "Firehouse Dog" which is a movie coming out soon starring Josh. Maggie came home Friday last week absolutely thrilled that she was going to meet a movie star! She was even caught practicing what she would say when she met him. On the way to school this morning, she told me, "I have been waiting for this day since Friday!" She finally got her moment to get his autograph and froze! She decided to let Natalie go first then she got her chance. Unfortunately, the picture is a little blurry, but hopefully you can see the excitement in her smile.
